About this deal

I don't avoid fragrance in skincare completely, but I prefer it not to be in formulas I'm reaching for to calm my skin when it's irritated. Is proven to be effective in reducing blemishes, evening out skin tone and helping to improve lines and wrinkles. This formulation includes some common irritants, including ingredients that do not provide a benefit for the skin. Leaves the skin feeling soft and hydrated, although it is a thick cream, feels super light weight and doesn’t make my skin oily! I love all things FAB (most of the time) but I am always nervous to use anything with the word “cream” on my combination-but-leans-oily-especially-in-summer skin.

This also is kind of like an essence, as it contains fermented ingredients, which can boost the efficacy of the ingredients and also act as a source of microbiome-boosters to help build a strong skin barrier.New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging . Emollients in this formulation (ceramide np, pentapeptide-34 trifluoroacetate, caprylic/capric triglyceride, dimethicone and squalane) help to reduce the moisture loss from the skin. Panthenol, glycerin, soluble collagen and caprylyl glycol in this product (humectants) attract water molecules to the upper layer of the skin (the water comes from the outside air or from the deeper layers of the skin if the air is dry).

The concentration of about 2% is effective for supporting the skin barrier and evening out the skin tone. More than that, it is helpful for most common skin concerns: it helps regulat oil production, help reduce acne and clogged pores, improve skin tone and prevent pigmentation marks. I can only use very gentle products now and this is the only face cream my ultra sensitive extremely dry irritated and eczema prone skin can handle. Apparently there were previously some really nice peptides in here but for some unknown reason they were removed from the formula, leaving behind a nice serum, but one that feels like a bit of a rehash of other products in the line to me.

That means there's no real reason to pick this up as well as other products in the line; if you have the toner and one of the moisturisers, there's nothing in here that's different or adds another angle to your skincare routine. Looks like they cheapened the quality: lowered amount of peptides and ceramides, and increased amount of fillers and preservatives such as xanthan gum and phenoxyethanol. Supercharged with collagen and firming peptides, this multi-benefit moisturiser helps to support supple and firm skin, creating a bouncy, healthy-looking complexion while softening the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Item was delivered perfectly intact, my first time having it and it was hearty for a rice dish with good flavor, chew and a mild spice kick. If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag.

It softened, smoothed and hydrated my skin and I definitely noticed that added 'bounce' when using this, even if it was a temporary effect. At the very least, peptides work as humectants: they attract water to the upper layer of the skin and improve its hydration. You have your oat extract, your glycerin, your squalane your hyaluronic acid and added licorice extract. Essential oils don't have many skin benefits, they're usually included as a fragrance additive and can actually be quite irritating for the skin. You can see the detailed formula review with the breakdown of all actives in the product and the full ingredient list with estimated concentrations in the tables below.
