I've liked this fragrance for more than 30 years, when I first bought some whilst on holiday in Spain. It is a lotion that I usually use, especially in the autumn and winter seasons, although it can be used in any season of the year, but personally I prefer to use it in the cooler seasons of the year. What's most noticeable to my nose with Agua Brava is the thyme and bay leaf, both with a sweetness and pungency that it uplifting and sensual.The heart of the fragrance is a blend of carnation, thyme, pine, bay leaf and clove, adding a spicy and aromatic quality. It's a hidden gem and has a 'mature' fragrance that's not 'tweedy' or 'flowery' like many of today's modern fragrences, and is quite distinctive, being robust on the 'smokey' side of light inscence.
