About this deal

I wanted to post my spoiler free review and encourage others to check it out (it's on Kindle Unlimited! Instinctually I bring my hand down to touch between my legs, squeezing my eyes tighter and seeing Silas’ shoulders spreading me apart, feeling his lips kiss a line up to my center. Trigger Warnings: emotional infidelity since the heroine and the hero make love in what she believes are just her dreams while she has a boyfriend.

With that being said, do be warned that the book relies more on the romance than any world building or plot.It would take at least a cycle and a half for the transport ship to make its way entirely back to the Otera.

Silas, a solitary galactic traveler, has just completed a dangerous job on the unforgiving Pulp Moon.As I was reading, I kept thinking about how this felt like a novelization of a "Twilight Zone" or "Black Mirror" episode. His olive skin gives way to scratchy looking, unkempt stubble; it starts halfway up his neck and peppers his cheeks and chin in patches. We even sold our own personal belongings to the locals for a while to spread ourselves thinner—things they could only find on the mainland.

When he could find a straight razor and clean the hair from his cheeks and neck, take a blunt scissor to the furling hair over his ears. The book is advertised as a sci-fi and it was cool to see such a romance heavy book set in a fictional and very cool space world. But through self-discipline, mental toughness, and hard work, Goggins transformed himself from a depressed, overweight young man with no future into a US Armed Forces icon and one of the world's top endurance athletes. Silas doesn’t love me like all the characters love their counterparts in these books—because it’s more than that.Food and drink, efflorescence, incense, oils, natural medicines, the fruits of the land that were recycled into every edge of society. I didn't see it coming and I do wish that the epilogue was the aftermath of her seeing the doors open and instead of all the drama from her dream, she broke up with Logan and went to Silas but it is what it is. A dystopian/sci-fi setting where she travels around the galaxy with her boyfriend, until the man she dreams about every night, finally meet in person. I had a dumb smile smacked across my face the entire time, laughed out loud several, stared at the ceiling in contemplation about what really matters in life on at least two occasions.

Having dreamt about a woman he’s never met every night for as long as he can remember, Silas has never allowed himself a relationship that reaches beyond confident that one day, he would find the woman in his fantasies somewhere in the universe. It’s not often I read a book and think, “I’ll never be the same” after reading it, but that’s exactly how I feel after finishing Forget Me Not.

Before the epilogue, I was leaning toward a 4-star rating, but the shock and emotions I had from that last chapter are what made me decide to bump it up to 4. When he sees Eliza across the room he can’t believe he’s finally face-to-face with the woman he dreams of every single night. Again, this author has skills and I will absolutely be willing to read another if I am prepared for what I am getting.
